How to convert JPG to PDF

  1. Add your JPG files: Drop or pick one or more JPG files. Other image types can go in the same PDF too.
  2. Set the order and page: Drag to reorder, pick A4, US Letter or "Fit to Image", and optionally a target size in KB.
  3. Download the PDF: Convert and download. Nothing is uploaded.

One PDF from many photos

Forms and offices often want one PDF, not five photos: both sides of an Aadhaar card, every page of a marksheet, a stack of receipts. Add them all, put them in order and you get one PDF with one image per page. JPG and JPEG are the same format, so both work.

Set the size before you convert

Most converters give you whatever size comes out, and then you need a second tool to shrink it. Here you type the portal's limit in "Target PDF Size" and the PDF is made to fit. Common limits have their own page: under 200 KB, 300 KB, 500 KB and 1 MB.

Phone photos come out the right way up

Phones save many photos sideways and store the rotation separately. The converter applies that rotation, so a page you shot upright is upright in the PDF.

Which page size to pick

  • A4 (or US Letter): for documents you'll print or upload to a form. "Contain" keeps the whole photo on the page.
  • Fit to Image: each page is exactly the photo's shape, with no white borders.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. The conversion runs in your browser on your own phone or computer, and the files never leave it. After the tool has loaded once, it also works without internet.

How do I make the PDF smaller than a portal limit?

Type the limit in "Target PDF Size" before converting. We count it the strict way (200 KB means at most 200,000 bytes), so the file passes on portals that count 1 KB as 1000 bytes and on those that count 1024. If the photos can’t get that small and stay readable, the result says so instead of giving you an unreadable file.

Can I change the page order?

Yes. Drag the files, or use the up and down arrows next to each one. The PDF follows the order on screen. You can add up to 50 images, 25 MB each.

Will the PDF look worse than my JPG?

Without a target size, each photo is saved at high quality (JPEG quality 90) and at full resolution up to 40 megapixels, so you won’t see a difference. With a small target, quality goes down first, then resolution, but never below about 60 DPI on the page.

Can I mix JPG with PNG or iPhone photos?

Yes. JPG, PNG, WebP and HEIC can all go in the same PDF.
