Most photo limits on Indian exam and government portals are between 50 KB and 300 KB (PAN allows only 20 KB), most signature limits between 20 KB and 100 KB (PAN: 10 KB), and most PDF documents 300–500 KB. Every portal differs, and many also set a minimum and a pixel size. The table below lists each one we support, how sure we are of the numbers, and when we last checked. Always confirm against your form's current notice.

Confidence: "Official notice" means we read the numbers from the portal's own notice or page. "Cross-checked" means at least two independent sources agree but we could not read the official one. Each portal's page lists its sources.
Before you upload
- Aim a little under the maximum: why a "200 KB" file can be rejected.
- Check the minimum too; files that are too small are rejected as well.
- Each exam page resizes and compresses all your files in one go and checks them against these limits.
